The fine print, up front
What counts as a tool-call?
One agent invocation of one of your functions (a tools/call that reaches the execution engine). Handshakes, tool listings, and denied/unauthorized requests are free — you only pay when an agent actually does work against your site.
What happens if I exceed my quota?
Calls keep working — we never hard-cut a live integration. Overage is billed at a published per-1,000-calls rate, and you can set a hard monthly spend cap if you prefer requests to pause instead.
Is there a yearly discount?
Yes — two months free on annual billing for Starter and Business. Sovereign contracts are annual by default.
Can I self-host without the Sovereign tier?
The core gateway is source-available for evaluation (see the docs to run the full demo locally). Production self-hosting with support, updates, and the compliance pack is what Sovereign is for.
